| Hello
and welcome to the Xynthica site! A name you'll never remember,
a site you will never forget! Well, in theory at least.
I'm
your generally healthy host Merritt
"Zephos" Wong and I love drawing, particularly things
with large eyes, strange colored hair, and two legs...sometimes
eight... but usually two... at least that's what I tell myself every
morning...
While
you are here, please take a look at my work, read a rant or two
and do something other than find points to emphasize in your hate
mail... although if that tickles your fancy, I love getting hate
mail! After what my family puts me through, it's like a back massage
in the Spring time!
This
site is best viewed at a resolution of 1024 by 768 or higher.
Oh
yes! Here's my Résumé!
While
I'm at, here's the Xynthica crash course FAQ!
Please
go here, if you are interested in signing me on for a Commission! |

February 26, 2005: Yes They Do
Sure, I could have put up an obvious caption like "Welcome",
but that would just make too much sense. I mean really, when was
the last time you went to a site that flat out told you that you
weren't welcome? That's like putting a welcome mat at the edge
of a cliff, and seeing who'll jump off in the spring time. Not
such a horrible idea actually, I should try it sometime. Anyhoo,
in the stead of self-explanatory redunda-fodder, I decided to
aim for something so simple, so elegant, so truthful, that it
speaks the very fabric of the universe and then some, and that
something is that those healthy female bipeds up there like Juice.
People in this world can argue about how honesty is the best policy
and other blatant lies till their boxes are full of hot steamy
flame, but you can't argue that the girls up there like don't
like juice, it symbolizes the meaning of the universe as a full
circle of reality. In every individual's life, one seeks to find
the many facets of truth and reality through their many mistakes
and experiences as only the wonder of life can present, that being
said, now you know these girls like juice... I wouldn't say that
they love juice, but it's a fair assumption that they like juice.
I don't have any factual evidence to present that these girls
like juice, but there isn't any evidence that they don't, so scientifically,
an unarguable theory is basically the truth as interpreted by
society, thus, these girls like juice.
Okay then! Now that I got out my obligatory random
paragraph specifically designed with the thumb twiddling intention
of filling space out of the way, it's time to get to the nitty
gritty. It's great to be back! I'm so happy to be back! Wow, it
feels like forever since I updated this site! It's amazing how
much of detraction high speed internet can be. Download this,
download that, watch the entire series of Full Moon wo Sagashite
in two days, watch the the intro to Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha
roughly fifty times, you get the idea. I think I finally have
done all the catching up that I wanted to since four years ago,
so I'm pretty happy these days. Of course, in that time span,
I also returned to my little hometown for a little quiet time,
drawing practice, and built a nuclear reactor somewhere in the
Pacific, but eh, details, details.
Anyhow, lot's of new stuff! There's now some actually
finished color work on this site, especially in the Complete
Gallery. I changed the name from Character Gallery, because
I really couldn't figure out what made it so particularly more
character like than anything else on this site. I pretty much
gave the entire site a root canal short of a new interface. There
are also plenty of new pieces in the Sketchbook
gallery, and the new Xynipedia
for those more interested in learning about the Xyniverse and
it's moderately to intensely psychotic population. Of course,
you also got my usual confident, colorful commentary. Oh, by the
way, if you are unfamiliar with this site, those healthy girls
up there are Xyni, Hara and Kiri, you can find their full images
in the Complete Gallery!
Xyni especially likes juice, so I'm giving her a concrete brick
instead to see if she notices the difference.
