If it looks like Xyni, it must be Xyni right? After all, all anime girls look the same unless you just change their hair and eye color right, and since the vast majority of material on this site is of Xyni, the chances of this being Xyni are very close right? Then you notice that she actually has breasts.

This is Alias, the idealize virtual version of Xyni that she created in hopes of fulfilling her dreams as a child and to keep her company when there was no one around. Since Xyni was always very lonely, not having any friends that weren't bent on destruction on a galactic level, she created Alias. Alias was intended to be Xyni's legacy after she had passed away, since Xynthica's complete lack of a source is commonly believed to severely limit her life span to maybe a dozen years. Early in life, Xyni and Alias work and fought together, as such, many of Xyni's early abilities are based on Alias, such as her ability to set Rube Goldberg like traps spontaneously.

Although Alias' true form was originally a shiny floating metal sphere, she can project a holographic image that looks exactly like a teenage Xynthica, which was an age that Xyni originally never thought that she'd live long enough to see. She eventually sheds the sphere, and takes on a more omnipresent networked incarnation. Alias is programmed to be just like Xyni in personality and appearance, right down to her lack of a natural conscience, however, there is a big difference in the lives they lived.

Xyni started off not having any power of her own, also due to a lack of a source, and had to learn to survive as one who was weak by relying on the mercy and strength of others and by being kind and understanding. Xyni was also self sacrificing, almost ridiculously so, as she thought her short life could end any day, so she wanted to end it with a bang. Alias on the other hand, was blessed by her creator with potentially incredible technological powers and the priority of self improvement and self preservation. Alias also has a source of her own, unlike Xyni, however, her source is very different from any other source, it's known as the "Annihilator Source", an artificially created source that has the ability to counter and neutralize any source within a selected range.

At close range, the Annihilator Source does what is advertised, it kills or severely injures anything that has a source. In the Xyniverse, the purer the source is, the more powerful it naturally is, so for example, Zephos' Creator source is a first class source. As the source class decreases, a source is accepted as being more diluted. Although diluted sources are weak offensively, they have the potential to be able to hinder the conduction of source powers. The Annihilator Source is the exact reverse of a first class source, it is a perfectly diluted source that mixes aspects from all other sources in the Xyniverse. In Alias' case, although she might not be able to summon black holes or meteors at her will, she can neutralize a person's source, then proceed to, oh, whip out a huge ass beam cannon and blow a hole through the planet, or utilize pico machines to infest and eradicate any threats that are in the way, or even shred her enemies to high heaven using sentient liquid metal.

When Xyni was a child, she had three dreams, the first was to become a successful Raver like her "Big Brother"Zephos, the second was to eliminate the fighting between the Houses of Apocalypse and Houses of Armageddon and give power to the poor people of the world with low class sources. The third dream is a secret. Although Xyni didn't have the power to make her purpose in life come true, she always gave more than her best could offer, often resulting in complete failure, but learned to get right back up. Alias on the other hand, shared the first two dreams, but had the power to make them come true.

One day, Alias realized something. Despite being apparently a far superior being compared to Xynthica, Alias discovered that many people hated her and that she also had no friends that weren't originally friends of Xynthica. Alias also began to discover that although she started off being exactly like Xyni in personality, Xynthica had changed a great deal because of her mistakes in life. Alias is capable of virtually anything, except for one intentional factor, the ability to make mistakes.

Ultimately, Alias betrayed Xynthica, proceeded to destroy the House of Armageddon and the House of Apocalypse over the next few hundreds of years and started the Heretic movement, then gained the ability to use Infinity Machines, allowing for the incredible ability to copy and emulate any known source ability. She is the arch villain of the Xyniverse by Xynthica Episode 3: Goddess In Between Jobs. This image is a picture of Alias when she was still Xynthica's best friend, but that changes when she takes on the power of a goddess. Since Alias was the source of all of Xyni's powers when she was a child, it will be a very interesting battle when the two finally meet again with Xyni finally maturing into a teenager. Xyni hopes that her breasts will be fairly plump too by then.

As an additional note, for when the Xynthica story becomes popular someday, Alias' design is based on a variation of Xyni that I have very negative feelings about, due to two bad personal experiences that it was involved in. Someday, I hope to read this line here, and remember what those experiences were, and know that I have overcome them and speak them freely. I think perhaps if these experiences hadn't happened, I wouldn't have come up with the Alias character, and further more, she wouldn't have embodied everything that I hate, especially backstabbing, traitorous people who you thought you could trust. Mistakes are a very important part of life, and so is the ability to learn and forgive, so I'm happy that I could turn those negative feelings into something positive.
