Ah, I love this character. I thought him up when I was feeling especially evil. Also known as "Mr. Meat Puppet" the Broken Man is one of the two Black Reapers who appears to harvest the souls of those who were wicked. At least, that's what their business cards say. In reality, "Reapers"are recruiters for either the House of Armageddon or the House of Apocalypse looking for people with strong Sources that can resist their various attempts to kill them, with the exception of the Reaper named Shi, who has a completely different approach all together. Having a bunch of semi-innocent bystanders die is unfortunately, just the side effect of the Reaper's "Survival of the Fittest" sorting system. The Reapers also apparently have social lives, who would have guessed?

Broken Man is basically just a eye that has many, many tentacles, but it is often very shy, so it kills, dismembers, and impales the parts of other living beings onto itself in attempt to pass as a humanoid looking thing, animating the body parts of corpses with its many limbs. It's generally pretty obvious that this is a guy you don't want to be anywhere around, but in all honestly, he's not horrible if you happen to be incapable of getting killed. In every other case though, running is a pretty good idea.
