Ah, this is one of my favorite drawings, specifically because of it's theme.

If you read my profile, you'll know that I'm a huge fan of Goldfish crackers from Pepperidge Farms, and this is how I show my fandom.

I was reading up on all of the mascots that the Japanese had made for certain things, like the OS-Tan girls and I was inspired to do this for the Goldfish crackers, and I think it captures the feel pretty well. The name on the drawing is Goldfish-chan, which I though was a bit long, but I couldn't think of a good alternative. I was considering Pep-chan, but that sounds like a Pepsi mascot. If anyone has any good ideas, please let me know.

Actually, this drawing is a Xynthica Evolution, basically a persona switch with a new theme, personality and name that Xyni does when she utilizes a Source Seed. In this case, the divine "Pepperidge Farms" seed. That's why they look the same with the round eyes, similar hair style and slender build.

As you might know, Xyni collects hair ornaments of all sorts, it's her hobby, so I originally decided in this drawing to put huge Goldfish crackers in her hair. She does it a couple of times in the Manga I'm working on now. They are edible by the way.

This drawing started to look pretty good, so I decided to go all out with the theme in this drawing and give her the complete Goldfish cracker works, and shorten her hair to give her a more youthful, active look, like Xynthica has in the manga.

At the time, I don't know if I'll ever use the full Xynthica Evolution of Goldfish-chan in my official works, not being entirely my original idea and all, but it's a good idea to keep around. For the time being, Xyni will at least wear the enormous Goldfish crackers time to time.
