Queen of the bees, lady of the flies, mistress
of the maggots, empress of the ants, Swarmee the White Reaper
has often been thought to represent them all. With a name like
Swarmee, it's not exactly hard to figure out what her approach
in battle is, as she has the ability to dissolve into armies of
insects should the opportunity arise, although you would think
that a more gruesome beast would be the one to wield such a disturbing
power. She often appears where there are many corpses and much
decay, and proceeds to clean things up, albeit it also doubles
as a free meal.
Swarmee naturally can communicate with insects, but apparently
isn't capable of speaking, she only makes chirping noises, so
every so often, she needs to spell out things using insects. Strangely
though, Swarmee isn't capable of using giant insects effectively,
such as a dung beatle the size of a car. Her specialty is to work
with the small, and work with the many.
Personality wise, Swarmee doesn't seem to have one, she's
just kind of "there", like a fly on the wall. It is
often thought that Swarmee's mind might be highly divided because
of the sheer number of entities that make her up. Swarmee has
a particular fear of giant sized sticky fly paper, but it's not
like you see that kind of thing every day. Like all of the Reapers,
she has a scythe. Swarmee's scythe is made to represent the claw
of a praying mantis.
