If you noticed, I tend to draw Xynthica at many different ages, usually between ten to twenty. At the time I am writing this, I have just turned 21 years old. I think Xynthica will also grow with me as time passes. Cartoon and anime characters don't really grow much in terms of appearance on a gradual level, and sometimes, the script writers never plan that far in advance, so that is why I decided to plot Xynthica's growth throughout her life to parallel my current age.

I can't remember how old I was when I came up with the original Xynthica concept, probably when I was a kid. She didn't start off being a manga like character until my high school years, just a little fact.

The idea back then was to give her as many odd extra body parts as possible, like mermaid gills, rabbit ears, an angels halo, huge rainbow wings, a tail. Somewhere down the line as I started to learn the trade of the animator, I learned that trying to draw this consistently can make you go completely insane. So as the years passed, Xynthica's default appearance became much more normal looking. Not sure if this is a good thing or not, but it sure makes drawing her easier.
