For some odd reason or another, I completely forgot about this image for the longest time. I was cleaning it up halfway. like I do with all the drawings I usually prepare for final coloring, but got distracted by another project and hadn't remembered about it till recently, but by then, it looked a bit outdated to the critical eye, so I abandoned the final version.

Two extra features I decided to add to Xyni's outfit in this drawing are the Vippy Ribbon, which is the cat eared thingie on her head, and the Snail Charm, which in retrospect, really didn't have any particular purpose. Come to think of it though, this is the last drawing of Xyni I've done for a long time that still had the "Dragon Tail" hair style. Due to artistic preferences, and the sheer amount of suffering it caused to draw. I changed her hair style in several later drawings after this one, but I think I'll start drawing her with it again or at least an underplayed version of it, since she seems a lot more recognizable with it. Honestly though, with that much hair, she could nit herself a dress, a scarf, a coat, a pair of mittens, a pair of matching socks to boot, and the box that they came in, so to speak.

Oh yeah, just to set the record straight, "Xyni", pronounced like "Zeee - Neee" and rhymes with bikini is simply the most common nickname for Xynthica, seeing as how you have to eyeball "Xynthica" for like twenty minutes before any given person can remember it. Which reminds me, although picking a name that rhymes with absolutely no other words in any other language might seem like a good idea at the time, it really isn't.
